Think about a time when you were nervous or anxious.

  • Maybe when you walked into a party and didn’t know anyone there

  • Maybe it was during a meeting and you were afraid to speak up

  • Or when your crush was sitting right next to you and you wanted to say something but you didn’t (maybe you’re still kicking yourself for it)

The reason why you felt nervous was because you were worried about what other people were going to think about you.

Why do we worry so much about what other people think to the point that it stops us from going for what we truly want? Hint: it goes back way before our time.

In my latest podcast episode, I share the psychology behind why we place so much value on what other people think, how it affects us (positively and negatively), and how to manage this pattern in a way that supports your highest self.

We all have fears that are related to what other people think, like fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, fear of being judged, and fear of getting hurt. However, we can choose to stop caring too much about what other people think and you can start by listening to this episode to learn helpful tips on how to manage it.
